Miso + Chocolate Ramen at Menya Musashi Niten in Ikebukuro

Miso Ghana 2014 ramen. The ball is chocolate mixed with nuts. At first glance, the ramen would best be described as a miso / tantan-men fusion (with spicy oil and ground meat). The chocolate ball melts in the soup while eating, so the taste at the end is quite sweet. I enjoyed it.

This chocolate ramen is a collaboration between ramen chain Menya Musashi and candy maker Lotte (which own the Ghana chocolate brand). It is produced especially for Valentine’s Day season and available in limited quantity (20 servings a day) in select shops (Ikebukuro, Shinjuku and Kamata) until February 14th.
